The room was very clean. Loved the hardwood floors instead carpet. Young man at check in and out very pleasant. Coffee was good at breakfast. The best was no bed bugs we checked.

Super close to downtown Mayberry! Heat was hot, had a fire pit around back, coffee included.
MOST EVERYTHING CLOSES AT 5PM OR 6PM. MOST RESTAURANT PRICES ARE LOW SO THAT YOU DONT BUST YOUR BUDGET ON EATING. REALLY GREAT LEARNING THE HISTORY. LOT OF GOOD ANTIQUE STORES. OFF THE BEATEN PATH WE SEEN LOTS OF WILDLIFE.

In all of my 40 years, I can honestly say that Mt. Airy was in the top 3 most enjoyable vacations that I have ever been on! The town was absolutely beautiful, the people were so friendly, and welcoming. The Andy Griffith Car Tour was so fun! Our tour guide was simply amazing! He is from Mt. Airy, so he knew all the history of Mt. Airy. We ate at the Rusty Rooster for brunch. The food was awesome, and the service was even better! We ate dinner at Aunt Bee's BBQ. It was so yummy! My husband enjoyed the cigar shop downtown Mt. Airy, as I made my way throughout the many shops. Just a beautiful vacation!!

The squad car tour was amazing.
The squad car tour was amazing. So much interesting info about Andy and his home town. Our guide, Mark, made the tour exceptional with his quotes and quips of The Andy Griffith Show program having used many business and street names of Mt. Airy where Andy grew up. Who knew that there is a quarry there that can be seen from space.

We are Andy Griffith fans.
We are Andy Griffith fans. We loved learning more about him and getting the Mayberry feel. The town is a quaint small town. Very friendly. We toured the museum. Our favorite experience was taking a tour in the cop car. We ate at the local restaurants. No chain restaurants. Prices very reasonable. Homestyle cooking at its best.

The facility appeared to be of mid-1960s vintage and is a typical single-floor motel design of that era. The room was clean and comfortable. Some of the fixtures were outdated. The toilet roll holder was broken (it was reported upon checkout). The sprayed wall texture was sloppily done and even coated the AC power cord. The breakfast offerings were minimal and pre-packaged. The Wi-Fi was good. Overall, this place is average and is recommended for an affordable one-night stay.
This is a basic no-frills hotel. I stay there every time I drive to/from Florida/NYC, it is the exact halfway point. Although I call it "basic no frills"; they do offer breakfast. The people that work here are friendly and accommodating The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is an older motel but extremely well cared for and CLEAN! It is the perfect place for an overnight stay when driving through I-77 (easy off and on) and the price is right!
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very attentive.it was dated.small stains on the carpet and a tear in the couch arm. It wasn't perfect but it was clean and comfortable. We slept well.good firm mattress. Air conditioning was fine. I would stay there again.the pool was nice
I slept amazing both nights! Quiet hotel, didn't even hear other people pull in after we had settled in for the night. Staff was super friendly. We generally stay at a different hotel when we come to my daughter's, but we'll be switching to the Bryson.
Nothing. They are not 24 hours. Don’t bother booking online bc when you get to the inn, no one would come to the door or answer after ringing buzzer and calling the location. Had to find a different hotel
The hotel was great starting with the front desk staff, who started our stay off woth a smile and very friendly words. The room was very clean the pool and all the halls were fresh and clean.
The bathroom was very clean. That is important to us. The furniture was shiny. The beds were comfortable. There was wood floors and they felt clean. I hate carpet in hotels.
We were very pleased with this hotel. Very good value for money. Clean, quiet and well maintained. Staff was exceptional. There were two eateries next door with excellant food.
Super clean and cozy. The staff was great. Conveniently located to Mount Airy . Restaurants and shopping close by. I highly recommend, and will stay there again in the future.
Really enjoyed Bees. It was quiet, with comfy bed and updated bathroom. The host was great and breakfast was really good. Would def stay here over a hotel in the area.
It was awsome,we played golf we had a wonderful time an we will b staying here every time we go to mount airy, about 8 times a year !! Wonderful host aswell !!
I have stayed here before. This time I was given a room in the back. it was no where near as clean as the front of the hotel. I like that it is pet friendly .
Breakfast was good enough. Small sitting area considering there was a huge group staying at the hotel but still nice and pleasant. Pretty place overall.
